Scarves & Snowflakes

Call me five years old, but I’m a HUGE fan of a good snow day. Since I’ve moved to Washington, D.C., I’ve gotten to experience a lot more snow in my life and I’m not complaining. 🙂

My winter clothing combo today is definitely more for casual snow enjoyment and not for an intense winter blizzard. However, this peacoat is one of the warmest items in my closet, matched with this massive sweater scarf, WARM leggings, snow boots and beanie to top it off! The perfect little outfit for going out for a little adventure in the snow until your heart is content. All of the items are linked at the bottom of this post!

My joy is just indescribable when it comes to snow. I guess that’s what I get for being an Atlanta girl my whole life and fervently PRAYING my little heart out every night that God would “please let it snow.”

Now, finally…YEARS later…I finally get to enjoy it!

There’s just something about the whole world being covered in white and looking so clean, fresh and beautiful. Also, I’m not complaining if I get to work from home!

It really is all about enjoying the little things in life and just finding joy in small things! What is something that brings joy and excitement to you?!

It doesn’t snow here in Brisbane which is a shame as I’d love my boys to have fun playing in the snow like you are here!

Hope that you are having a good week so far! The weather has been more bearable this week which is nice, not the crazy high temps we had last week! So far removed from snow, haha!

  12. OMG snow! Ahhhh! I love snow! But being an Aussie we never get it either. My first (truthfully second but the first doesn’t count because I was too young and don’t remember) encounter was two years ago driving from Las Vegas to Flagstaff AZ! It was something else. We were on the highway and started seeing white stuff in random patches. Took us a while to realise it was snow so we pulled over and started playing in it hahaha! Much to the amusement of other passers by too. Urgh, such good times. I would love to live somewhere where it snowed. Especially during Christmas.

    1. HAHA I love snow too! No way – you live in Australia? That’s incredible, I’ve always wanted to visit!
Glad you’ve gotten to experience snow at least once though, and in Arizona of all places – so crazy! I agree though, white Christmases are the BEST EVER!
